Cloud development with AWS & Google Cloud

I develop cloud services and prepare the infrastructure they need to run. This includes application deployment, access controls, configuration and the everyday tasks of keeping a service usable.

The starting point is the workload, not the longest list of cloud products. A public web app, an integration worker and a device backend have different requirements. Together we choose a hosting approach based on traffic, data handling, existing infrastructure and who will operate it.

What I can help with

  • AWS and Google Cloud application development
  • Docker packaging and deployment configuration
  • Service accounts, API access and least-privilege permissions
  • Build and deployment workflows with Git
  • Logging, operational checks and handover documentation

Tools & technologies

  • AWS
  • Google Cloud
  • Docker
  • GitHub Actions
  • Linux
  • Cloudflare
  • Vercel

From my engineering experience

My reporting and automation work uses service accounts to read API data without sharing a personal login. I also operate self-hosted automation in Docker and deploy changes from the command line. These are practical examples of treating credentials, application configuration and repeatable releases as part of the software work.

Delivery & collaboration

A deployment should be understandable after handover. I document environment variables without exposing secret values, the release process and the checks needed after an update. Ownership of infrastructure, recurring costs and ongoing support are agreed separately so the operating model fits your team.
